Week 1
One down…
…three more weeks to go! Looks like I’m on target!
Thankfully, hubby hasn’t slowed me down too much with all his photography, and I’m making good progress towards my goal.

Week 1 Update
In my first seven days I’ve travelled a total distance of almost 50 miles! I know – it surprised me too, especially that 16 miles of that is just general running around the house and what have you! I’m obviously making far too many cups of tea and will have to inform ‘him indoors’ to buck his ideas up!
Anyway, using my FitBit I’ve been tracking my ‘actual’ walks – that’s the school runs and any quick walks round the park or village with the girls, and then the longer strolls where Andy has usually been following me with a camera – I’m not sure he’s necessarily getting my best side in all these shots, but I digress!
So week one has seen me record 33.38 miles – so a third of the distance in a quarter of the time! I’m still hoping to get out and keep up doing similar distances as I have been, but who knows what the weather’s going to bring in the coming days (it’s chucking it down as I type this!) but fingers crossed I’ll make it to the one hundred mile mark without getting too soaked or muddy!

“My initial goal was to raise £100 for Little Jesters. Quickly, thanks to your generosity, this jumped to £150 and now £250, and we’re nearly there already! Thank you all so much for your kind donations!
If we break the £250 mark in this next week, maybe we’ll have to look at upping the ante even further! Stay tuned!”
