Day 11

Friesthorpe

To say today’s weather was ‘changeable’ would be an understatement! Dark and moody clouds and lashings of rain this morning, then glorious sunshine!

That wind was kicking up fierce mind! Luckily, Friesthorpe is in a nice shielded little spot!

Tilly had seen our pictures of the sheep out grazing from the other day and said that she wanted to go have a look at them too – so that’s exactly what we did for today’s walk. All the family getting a bit of fresh air – don’t worry, the three of them were back on the Playstation before too long!

Just a couple of miles today – it’s all good, I’m a little ahead of my original schedule and it means I don’t have to hear any ‘I’m really tired’ shouts from the girls… or Andy, for that matter! Nice big one planned for tomorrow!

“Thanks again to everyone who has donated so far! Getting a notification on my phone that there’s been another one while I’m out walking really spurs me on!”
