Day 10
Cold, Cold Hanworth
Eurgh! Rain! I’ve been lucky up until now, with most of the showers in the last week happening over night and the days being nice and dry (even if they weren’t always the sunniest).

Faldingworth – Cold Hanworth
To be fair, I timed it just about right – there were a few spots of drizzle as I popped out for a quick jaunt down Sprid Road and back. The girls like to come out for a little walk on the weekends but I didn’t fancy all the coats and wellies and all that today!
This was another one of those routes where I just had to turn around and go the same way home. Distance wise, I think going down to Snarford and then back up to Faldingworth would be fine, but I think the lack of footpaths along the A46 mean that’s not a good idea! Maybe going through Snelland and Wickenby would be a thing to try – but those extra miles would make it quite the distance! Maybe for my last hurrah?

“Leaving hubby at home with the girls meant I could just crack on and get this one done today – nice and early, for a weekend anyway! Also, it meant I could message ahead and tell him to get the kettle on for when I got back home!”
