Day 09 – Rasen my game…

It’s all very well trying to walk between different villages around here in theory – in practice, it can be a little bit trickier! If you follow the A46, rather than the back roads, as we did on our drive to Tesco this morning, Middle Rasen is technically Faldingworth’s neighbouring village – in actuality, it’s 5 miles away on foot and you have to pass in between Buslingthorpe and Linwood to reach it!

So, not fancying a 10 mile hike just yet, I had Andy drop me off while he went to do the weekly shop. Without my running mate / ball & chain / personal photographer / social media manager (delete as applicable!), I made good time – I was practically in Buslingthorpe itself an hour or so later when Andy finally caught up to me in the car!
