Day 06

Willingham Woods

We used to take the girls here fairly regularly before they started school – usually in the summer when ice-creams were an option, mind you! We still found some treats though!

Expecting things to be a bit muddy, I opted for my old faithful Doc Marten boots rather than my trainers – I needn’t have bothered, it was fine underfoot, but I’d forgotten how (relatively) heavy these boots are!

I stopped back at the car to switch footwear before we wandered round the corner to Special Edition Chocolate at The Chocolate Drop – we’ve been meaning to pop in for years now, but we’re usually only passing on our way back from Louth when its closed!

Picked up some Christmas treats and Andy helped himself to some truffles that I don’t think are going to last until anywhere near December!
